Who are the Animorphs?

There names are Jake, Rachel, Tobias, Cassie, and Marco. These kids were five normal, totaly human, kids. Untill one night when they saw an Andalite ship crash in an abandon construction site. That is when they meet Prince Elfangor, who is dieing. Elfangor tells the kids of a great and secret invasion. He tells them of the Yeerks. The Yeerks are a parasitic species. They live inside the heads of other beings. They take over the body, they eat for you, sleep for you, even you know for you. Well Elfangor gives them a chance to fight back by giving them a power, a power to change there shape into any animal that they touch. They excepted the power. They fought the Yeerks, in they're first battle in the Yeerk pool. Only one didn't escape, Tobias, now he is trapped as a red tailed hawk. From that point on they fought Yeerks every time they saw a chance. Then they meet Ax, an Andalite, but closer to the Animorphs than you think, he was Elfangor little brother. Now they fight together, in a chance to save Earth. But the only big question is we they win?

The books

The books come out every month, it's not hard to find them. I would recomend the books more than the TV show or the home vidos because the books are a lot better. For the tv show they try to put a whole book in one episode, 30 min. I would say that's not enough but it's still cool to watch. Anyway there is a few of minny series, Megamorphs, The Chronicles, Alteramorphs, and the series. Megamorphs are when ALL the characters. The Chronicles are before the Animorphs were alive or didn't have the power to morph. Alternamorphs are when you are an Animorph, you chose were to go and what to do. The series is where the Animorphs tell their stories, and what happened. They go in order from Jake, Rachel, Tobias, Cassie, Marco. Then when Ax came into the stories, the order changed so Ax would take the place of Tobias, then swicth every other round. But now there is going to be a change around book #44 so Ax and Tobias will be in one round. It would go like this: Jake, Rachel, Tobias, Cassie, Marco, and Ax. Or it would be Jake, Rachel, Tobias, Ax, Cassie, and Marco. But that won't be untill June, 2000.

The TV Show

This show in one NICK. They have been showing it at different times. For cental time it's 7:00pm on Sunday nights. Basically it's like the books but shorter, you can find the home video at stores too. It contains three epiodes each. They may not be like the books word by word, but they are still cool to watch. So watch this show but I would also read the books too.
